Tongue Drum Beautiful Design & Addictive Soulful Sound
A tank or steel tongue drum is a percussion instrument in the idiophone family played for centuries. It creates sound by striking its metal surface with fingers or mallets.
Huashu 15 Note Steel Tongue Drum
Made with high-resistant carbon steel, the drum surface is covered with an electroplated varnish that forms a protective film, which gives the instrument high durability to protect it from scratch.
Huashu is a sub-brand of Hluru steel tongue drum production. Huashu drums are more affordable. However, it still has Hluru's beautiful design and exquisite craft. It is modelled with the Hluru original 14 inches 15-note carbon steel D major model but with a slightly different metal composition ratio to lower the cost. Compared to under $200 generic steel tongue drums in the market, the Huashu tongue drum has a much clearer and more stable tone with no clunky metallic sound.
Compare the sound to Hluru 15 inches tongue drum; Huashu performs really well in its middle range tines, similar to the high-end Hluru sound. However, the high tines are quiet and need some practice to have a good sound. Also, Hluru tongue drums sound richer and more expressive in the lowest few notes.

There was a slight stuff up when the wrong colour was delivered, however the customer service I received was fantastic. They gave me a return shipping label and expressed out the new colour as soon as the old one was scanned into Aus post system. The sound of the drum itself sounds absolutely beautiful. I love it so much. I've attached a video of my first ever time playing something like this. Reckon I did ok haha. Would absolutely make another purchase from here.
I adore my tounge drum, I was looking for something soothing to add to my Aromatherapy and meditation expierences as well as helping me take my next journey in sound therapy. These are great for anyone of any age x
Fun to play and a powerful sound when elevated
LOVE! Such a gorgeous drum with an absolute beautiful tone! Drum is high quality!
Amazing service across the board and BEEEAUTIFUL QUALITY PRODUCT✨️🌻🙏🏻❤️ Will always continue to shop here
This is an absolutely beautiful quality drum at a very affordable price. I don’t know how to play instruments but just like my kalimba’s you just can’t mess it up when playing these. It’s so easy to go with the flow and bust out some unpredictable mellow tunes.
It works really well. I can play game of thrones intro and the sound definitely calms the brain. Love it!!
Whole family love it. Sits on the coffee table and you can't help but play it for a few minutes when you walk past. Best bit is that even when the kids play it always sounds good. Glad we made the purchase
Beautiful product and sound, also makes a great household ornament when not playing.
Bought as a gift. Easy transaction. Arrived very quickly. Recipient loved it as did everyone else who was at the party, people were playing it all night which ended up starting an impromptu session of drumming, guitar playing and singing.
Love this shop, worth going to the shop and trying everything, I would buy it all if I could
Never played an instrument in my 80 years, but finding this soothing and relaxing. Biggest problem for me is understanding notation. Going to have lots of fun learning.
Very happy with my purchase…the tongue drum is beautiful and sounds resonant and calming. I loved it so much I bought another smaller version straight away for my young grandaughter!! Great service and delivery as well!
Delivered safe and sound. Well packaged ans great product.
This is SOoooo beautiful. It sounds soothing and soft. My daughter is going to love this for Christmas. Thank you.
This is my 2nd Steel Tongue Drum order from you. The first lives permanently on my dining table ( except for meal times ) to excite and invite visiting family and friends to try it. Everyone delights in creating beautiful, charming melodies. My son-in-law loves it, and so..... The second one is his surprise gift to celebrate his 50th Birthday. Thank you for your wonderful prompt and friendly service.... warm regards...........Susanna
Absolutely love it! The tone, it’s so soothing. Everybody who have seen it so far has played it & have found it to be very relaxing, playing and listening to it’s sound. I’m very happy with my purchase.
Love the tones of the notes. Best of all though I love that this is something I can share with my grandchildren. My two grandaughters 7 and 5 enjoy playing the notes, creating their own little tunes and listening to those of others. This is an instrument that is an experience and can bring families together.
Three of the tongues don’t sound properly, so half a dud instrument
Sounds great 👍
Loooove my new drum!!!!! Thank you lovelies - everything I wanted and more!!
Gave as a gift and they loved it - sounds great.
Absolutely beautiful sounds
Lousy mallets. High notes hardly work with new purchased mallets. I don't care for the hard metal sound. The low notes sound good. This is a no-brand drum made in China. If I had purchased this on Amazon I would return it. My 6" Lekato sounds much better.
Arrived quickly and is appreciated by recipient (gift)
Whilst I haven’t actually played a set piece of music (yet)…It’s the resonance that has grabbed me…Much to learn here.Healing potential … The drum is Extremely well made…Far better than I expected…. It’s the real deal., I very much appreciate it… Thank you…🎶💙
Order was handled with speed and good delivery time. Love the drum and have been experimenting with it ever since it arrived. Some beautiful notes.
Arrived super fast and I LOVE it! I’ve started teaching myself some songs from the store’s YouTube Channel, but honestly, it’s so relaxing just improvising on the Tongue Drum. I’m obsessed.
Sooo happy with my new Steel Tongue Drum !! I'm learning to play a few tunes as well as simply enjoying the random play to create the beautiful sounds. Whoever comes to visit, especially my grandchildren, always gravitate to this unique ' toy / instrument ' ........ welcoming anyone to be tunefully adventurous. Many thanks for the speedy delivery......will be a favourite in time for the coming Christmas joy. Merry Christmas to all staff at Little Kalimba.
I am very happy with the quality of the products I have bought and how quickly they arrived
Love the Sound. D major. Size excellent. Feels good to touch very smooth. Colour perfect for me. Still learning and the numbering system excellent. Love it
Quick delivery and as described. Thanks
I chose the steel tongue drum 14" 15 note D Major in gold. I could tell when it arrived that it had been very well packaged, and was in immaculate condition. The golden colour is beautiful and tones in well with my other golden sound healing tools. And, it sounds incredible, I've already had so much play time with it! I love that you can have it play rich and deep, or soft light and gentle. It has the perfect blend of dreamy bright and watery notes, with earthy woody notes too. Love it! And, the carry bag it comes with is super sturdy. Thank you Little Kalimba Shop!
Honestly It’s a Birthday Gift in December Am sure he will love the calming sounds once he’s mastered playing Thank you
I love the sound of this, a couple of notes sound quite as rich but am sure it’s me not the drum, thankyou
