Huashu 15 Note Steel Tongue Drum

Made with high-resistant carbon steel, the drum surface is covered with an electroplated varnish that forms a protective film, which gives the instrument high durability to protect it from scratch. 

Huashu is a sub-brand of Hluru steel tongue drum production. Huashu drums are more affordable. However, it still has Hluru's beautiful design and exquisite craft. It is modelled with the Hluru original 14 inches 15-note carbon steel D major model but with a slightly different metal composition ratio to lower the cost. Compared to under $200 generic steel tongue drums in the market, the Huashu tongue drum has a much clearer and more stable tone with no clunky metallic sound.

Compare the sound to Hluru 15 inches tongue drum; Huashu performs really well in its middle range tines, similar to the high-end Hluru sound. However, the high tines are quiet and need some practice to have a good sound. Also, Hluru tongue drums sound richer and more expressive in the lowest few notes.
