Make music together, from your first session
Spend a relaxed three hours learning handpan and playing with a small, welcoming group. Each workshop has 4–10 participants, depending on demand. Complete beginners are welcome, and you don't need your own handpan or any musical experience.
What happens in the workshop?
- Learn: Build your playing skills with practical techniques, rhythms and grooves.
- Ensemble: Learn your part in a prepared groove, piece or song, then bring the parts together as a group.
- Jam: Enjoy some guided, relaxed playing together and try out what you've learned.
We'll take a tea and snack break during the session. The parts can be adapted to your experience, so you can join as a beginner or return to keep developing your playing.
Meet your facilitators
Join Tiffany, founder of Melodic Forest, and David, our workshop facilitator. You may have seen us playing together in many of our videos! We'll guide the learning, ensemble and jam, and make sure everyone has a part they feel comfortable playing.
