Handwoven in a rich combination of nature-inspired colours, this adjustable rim braid adds warmth, texture and personality to your instrument while helping to cushion its most exposed edge.
Many handpans already have a rubber rim protector fitted around the shell. This woven braid sits over it to provide another soft layer of cushioning against everyday knocks, rubbing and surface contact. It is especially useful for handpans without a rubber rim protector, adding both comfort and light protection to the bare metal edge.
The soft woven finish also provides a more comfortable grip when holding, repositioning or moving your handpan during everyday use.
Its adjustable design can be tightened or loosened to fit most full-size handpans measuring approximately 53–56 cm in diameter. It sits securely around the rim without interfering with the playing surface or affecting the sound and resonance of the instrument.
More than a practical accessory, it completely transforms the look of your handpan. The detailed handwoven texture and tassel finish give each instrument a distinctive, personal character.
