Please first submit the Handpan Tuning & Repair Assessment Form. After we review your instrument, we will tell you which service tier to select. Please do not purchase a tier unless we have directed you to it.
Service tiers
$220 — Standard / Minor Tuning
For a handpan with very minor tuning drift, including an instrument that has not been tuned for several years and needs a general light retune.
$330 — Single Note / Minor Impact Repair
For one clearly out-of-tune note, or smaller treble-note issues caused by a minor bump, knock or impact.
$440 — Complex / Double-Sided Repair
For double-sided instruments, instruments with additional bottom notes or high note counts (including approximately 20 notes), or more significant damage caused by a drop or substantial impact.
Assessment and repair conditions
- The correct tier must be confirmed by Melodic Forest before purchase.
- Payment does not guarantee that the instrument can be fully repaired or restored.
- Results depend on the instrument’s construction, material, age, condition, previous work and extent of damage.
- If the physical assessment reveals work outside the confirmed tier, we will contact you before proceeding.
- Drop-off or shipping instructions will be provided separately after assessment. Shipping and insurance are not included unless agreed in writing.
