Rosewood is without question one of the most popular and enduring tone woods known in acoustic instrument construction. It has a beautiful rich variety of brown and purple colours, making a warm-sounding kalimba with great resonance. Its resonance could be described as dark and complex, with notably rich overtones and a metallic zing that’s difficult to replicate with other woods.
The unique bottom soundhole design makes the sound more ethereal and pure. Keys are made of ore steel tines that provide a bright and clear timbre. The key touch is a bit softer compared to other brands, which is more comfortable to play and suitable for beginners.
