34 key chromatic kalimba Tree Of Life
Introducing Hluru Chromatic Kalimba. It's unique, creative and different, unlike anything you have played before. This chromatic kalimba is suitable for any style of music, even jazz. In addition, it has a range of 3 kalimbas combined (see image for the scale arrangement).
34 Key B major chromatic

-
Play the lower layer = the standard 17 key kalimbas (B major)
-
Play the lower layer + 4 tines in the middle of the top layer = the standard 21 key kalimbas (B major)
-
Play both layers together = A chromatic kalimba that ranges over three octaves
This modern take on the traditional African instrument fits anyone's musical tastes. So don't let those kalimbas with only a few keys stand in your way of playing any song you like! Instead, you need this Chromatic Kalimba, which presents incredible chromatic tones for today's musician who loves experimenting and creating new melodies.

Flat Board vs Hollow vs Acrylic Kalimba
Flat Board Kalimba
Bright, clear, and very defined sound — great for clean melodies.
Hollow Kalimba
Warm tone with longer sustain. The most popular choice, with a soft “wah-wah” effect when you play around the soundhole.
Acrylic Kalimba
Clear tone, but quieter. Acrylic doesn’t resonate like wood, so the sound is softer.
Does Wood Type Matter?
Wood type makes a small difference, but shape matters more. The design of the kalimba has a bigger impact on the overall sound.
Which One Should You Choose?
All kalimbas are played the same way.
Choose based on:
- The sound you like
- The design you enjoy
If you love how it looks, you’ll naturally want to play it more.💛
A blend of musical enjoyment and a touch of creativity.
A beautiful escape brings tranquility into your day.
